I’m Kristel, the creative soul behind Westisland Media.

My love for photography started as a young teenager when I hijacked my dad’s compact camera and became obsessed with capturing everything from water droplets to spiderwebs. Before long, I was staging my own little experiments with feathers, glass, and anything else I could find—and I haven’t stopped since.
​
Today, with a background in digital marketing and concept development, I specialise in creative studio & lifestyle photography for food & beverage, lifestyle, and beauty brands. ​Inspired by everything from pop art to nature, I thrive on playing with colours, shadows, and even a little gravity defiance (because why not?).
My approach is simple: let’s make your brand look amazing and have some fun while we’re at it.

How it works
Discovery & Onboarding
We’ll kick things off with a chat to dive into your needs and goals. This is where we get aligned on the vision and figure out the best way to work together to bring it to life.

Pre-Production
I’ll spend some time getting to know your brand inside out. From there, we’ll develop moodboards and concepts that set the tone for our shoot, making sure every detail reflects your brand’s style and story.

Production & Photoshoot
Now, the fun begins! I’ll organize everything we need—props, sets, talent, and all the little details—so that when it’s time to shoot, everything’s ready to roll and we can capture the best of your brand.

Post-Production
Finally, we move into retouching, where all the pieces come together. This last touch ensures your images are polished and ready for you to share across your channels with pride.
